Technical Account Manager
Purpose of the role
Are you an experienced professional in the polymer industry looking for a new challenge with real impact? We are looking for a Technical Account Manager who can combine commercial drive with technical insight. In this role, you’ll act as the key link between customers and suppliers, offering expert advice and tailored solutions based on our broad product portfolio and service proposition.
Your focus will be on growing and maintaining strong customer relationships while driving business growth in the Benelux region.
Principal responsibilities
- Provide commercial and technical support to a defined customer portfolio in the Benelux region.
 - Proactively identify and acquire new customers and build strong relationships with OEMs.
 - Follow up on project pipeline, including regular reviews with key suppliers.
 - Plan and conduct customer visits, logging outcome and follow-up in our CRM system.
 - Understand customer needs and translate them into practical solutions leveraging our diverse product portfolio and service proposition.
 - Take full ownership of your own budget, volumes, and margins.
 - Stay up to date with the latest developments and innovations in the polymer industry.
 - Collaborate closely with internal teams including inside sales and product managers.
 
Your Profile
- You have relevant experience in a commercial role in the polymer industry and/or in business development for a specific polymer group.
 - You are fluent in Dutch and English.
 - You are eager to learn portfolio brands and are willing to travel frequently within your region.
 - You are customer-focused, and a true go-getter.
 - By nature, you are a team player with a proactive problem-solving attitude, strong sense of ownership and strong communication skills.
